FLAM is the Facebook List Admin Machine. We built a facebook application that creates other facebook applications.

The FLAM application lets a user create a list of things, usually of things to do: a kind of big to-do list. People on facebook can check-off the items as they do them.

The best examples are "7x7's The Big Eat SF" (go try it) and Chronicle Books' "Change the World for Ten Bucks Action Tracker" (go try it).

Chronicle Books and 7x7 Magazine in San Francisco have effectively used FLAM's viral momentum to drive traffic to their sites.
